NSMQ contest- Amass phobia overpowers YAGSS as KSTS, SDASS, Tepa qualify for "brilla"

T. I.  Amass Kumasi put up an amazing display to  overcome Yaa Asantewaa Girls and Namong SHS in the just ended Ashanti Regional elimination contest of the national science and maths quiz competition.  Amass phobia cruised to victory with 37points with YAGSS managing only 19 points whilst Namong could only secure 8 points.  Namong gifted Amass the advantage as they couldn't answer most questions allowing Amass to benefit. YAGSS have failed to qualify from the region since 2013.

In other contest KSTS qualified to the national event after overwhelmingly beating Asare Bediako and Kofi Agyei with 44 points leaving the two schools with 20 points and 14 points respectively.

Amaniampong qualified to the national event as well in a close contest with Antoa and Dwamena Akenten. Amaniampong won with 27 points with Antoa and DASS securing 25 and 22 points respectively.

Bekwai SDA also managed to book their ticket with a victory over Mabang and Nyinahin Catholic SHS.

Tepa SHS also booked their ticket to the national event with an exciting performance.
