BECE Candidate Dies At New Akrade, E/R
News for today reveals that, a candidate writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination, died at New Akrade District of Eastern region.
Basic Education Certificate Examination is one of the leading basic examination for all students in Junior High School to write before they can come out successfully and enter the senior High level as a means of climbing the educational ladder in life.
The news reported to Raph Sark's academic news desktop today shows that, this boy found to be called, Louis Ametepe, being the boys' prefect for the South Senchi Junior High School, passed away at the evening of Wednesday June 15 after he afetr being rushed to the Akosombo VRA Hospital when he abruptly stopped writing his second paper.
Louis Ametepe is reported to be at the age of 15 years old, but courageous in his portfolio as the Senior boys' prefect of South Senchi Junior High School.
Reports from the officer in-charge of the examination reveals that, some of the supervisors observed that the boy was seriously sick and shivering during the time of writing the papers on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, he said Louis Ametepe came to the examination hall still sick and looking worse than the previous situation, but insisted he wrote the paper despite attempts to get him to hospital for treatment.
Sources declare that, Louis' condition became worse while he was writing his second paper which was his last paper for the day but the invigilators around compelled him to leave the examination hall for the house.

He was then rushed to the hospital when he went home but died later on. Parents of Louis Ametepe then rushed to the Akosombo Police to report the case for further investigations to be made.

BECE is the basic exams for students in Junior High School, so why should someone starting his life from this stage end up having nothing at the end of all the suffering gone through in school.
