Zone five will take their turn at the inter-schools and Colleges Athletics Competition Tomorrow the 11th and Friday the 12th of February at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Zone three and Zone four have already taken their turn in the ongoing athletics competition for senior high schools in Ashanti Region and all is set for some notable schools to also showcase the depth of their talent at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kumasi High School and their 'allia' counterparts, Prempeh College and their 'allia' Yaa Asantewaa Girls will all appear on Thursday and Friday.
Kumasi Anglican SHS, Asanteman SHS, Okomfo Anokye SHS will all appear to showcase their talent.
Others appearing on the same day include Armed Forces SHS, Juaben SHS, Tweneboah Kodua, Nkawie SECTEC.
ZOne five is expected to be more competitive than the two zones who have taken their turns so far with KASS, KUHIS, Prempeh, Asanteman, Armed Forces, Okomfo Anokye, Nkawie and Juaben expected to battle each other on the track and field events in the boys category for one of the six tickets to the super-zonals slated for the 25th and 26th of February.
In the girls division, YAGSS, KASS, Nkawie, Juaben, Asanteman, Armed Forces and others will attempt to secure a SUZO slot as they take to the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday.
Some other schools appearing in zone five include Nigrition, Sekyedumase, Owerriman, Ofoase, Mankranso, Mabang, Ejisuman, Church of Christ, Assemblies of God, Angel Education, Gyaama Pensan, S.M.A among others.
The two day event will see close to thirty schools within the region compete in over seventeen events for a place in the Super-Zonals scheduled for the 25th and 26th of February.
