The 2016 Ashanti Regional Inter Schools and Colleges Athletics Competition dubbed (Inter-Co) organized by the Schools and Colleges Sports Federation in Ashanti Region will commence on the 4th February, 2016 at the Baba Yara Stadium..
Zone three will make their presence felt when schools like Obuasi Sectec, Aduman SHS, Adu Gyamfi SHS, Tepa SHS, Bekwai SDA, EFFISCO, Agona SDA SHS, Namong, Ejisu SECTEC etc. compete for the six tickets for each zone in the Super-Zonals.
An average of thirty-two senior high schools within Ashanti Region will compete in various events, Six schools will qualify from each zone to compete in the super zonal championship slated for later this month.
The zone is expected to be very competitive as many schools attempt to pick one of the 6 tickets for the Zuper-Zonals.
