Aduman, O'SECTEC, Tepa SHS, Adu Gyamfi others set to qualify as Zone-3 opens INTERCO Tomorrow







Over thirty schools are set to battle each other for one of the six tickets in ZONE THREE to the super-zonals slated for later this month. Some prominent athletics schools will be competing on Thursday and Friday the 4th and 5th of February 2016.

Aduman SHS won the girls division last year in zone three with 193 points followed by O'SECTEC with 114, Tepa SHS 94.5, Bekwai SDA with 79 points, Adu Gyamfi SHS with 50.5 and St. Monica's picking the last slot with 49 points.

Obuasi SECTEC however won the boy's division with 116.5 to place first with Aduman placing 2nd with 97 points, Tepa with 83.5, EFFISCO at 4th with Kofi Agyei placing 5th and Agona SECTEC picking the last slot.

However the battle will be more keener and competitive this time around with many of the schools that failed to qualify last year upping their game to outmuscle those who qualified last year.

Notable schools competing for honours in zone three are O'SECTEC, Tepa SHS, Bekwai SDA, Adu Gyamfi SHS, St. Monica's, Kofi Agyei, Agona SECTEC, Adanwomasi SHS, Nsutaman SHS, Osei Tutu II College, Ejisu SECTEC, Namong, St. Hubert, Beposo, Amass Girls-Asokore,Garden City SHS, Faith Assemblies of God, Wesley High, Komfo Anokye, Kwamang Presby, Bodwesango SHS, Adabie. Hope College, CIAT, etc.

The programme begins at 8:30 am with a brief opening ceremony at the Baba Yara Stadium.
